Hanna Gamble is the co-owner and manager of Eightfold Farms. She discovered her love for horses at just two years old, when her father took her to ride a lead pony named Buco at Louisiana Downs. Hanna’s riding foundation started in the Hunter/Jumper rings at Double Rainbow Equestrian Center. She has more than 10 years of experience competing and coaching at both local and AA rated shows. As Hanna’s riding progressed, an affinity for trail riding and jumping logs in fields led her to Holly Hill Farm, which specializes in 3-Day Event style riding. Hanna competed through the Training level in Eventing, and only stopped competing because of severe
performance anxiety. Given Hanna’s history with anxiety, she is a very patient and calm instructor, and she loves working with students with special needs or social challenges. Hanna says, “I love seeing what a difference working with horses can make!”
Hanna is also an active C3 rated member of the Gator Bayou Horse Masters Pony Club. Hanna encourages all of her students to join Pony Club, which is a wonderful non-profit that promotes safe horsemanship and provides great opportunities to build lifelong friendships through riding. With over 20 years of equestrian experience, Hanna is a knowledgeable, effective, and FUN instructor!!
