Rider Responsibilities

Please allow 30 minutes prior to each lesson for grooming and tack up, another 30 minutes following the lesson for un-tacking, caring for the horse, and tack cleaning.

• Understand that lesson times are planned and that you need to be on time. If you happen to be late for a lesson, the finishing time for that lesson remains the same. In addition, if you are more than 15 minutes late, the lesson is cancelled but will be charged for services.
• All students will be required to have their own paddock boots and a properly fitted helmet after first 60 days.
• All students must clean up after your horse, and keep the barn tidy
• All students are required to put away all grooming supplies when finished, wipe down bridle, saddle and girths. All equipment and tack be returned to its proper place in tackroom or lockers.
• All gates and stall doors must be closed and locked behind you.

Inclement Weather

Lessons will continue in covered arena/round pen unless weather is severe. Please contact Liz, Sydney, or Hanna if you have questions regarding weather concerns. Also, in severe weather we will conduct a horsemanship lesson in the safety of the barn.

Cancellation Policy

• Strict 48 HR cancellation policy for any private/semi-private lessons. If 48 hr notice is not given, you are responsible for full payment.
• Refunds are not given for any missed lessons or deducted from monthly fee.
• Any credits will not be applied for the following month.

All group lessons are PREPAID MONTHLY, due on the 1st of every month. Lease horses are available but subject to availability. All private and semi-private lessons must be paid for PRIOR TO THE START of the lesson.
